Message	However, we agreed to do a clutch & flywheel swap for a guy who just bought the car against our advice... it was in incredibly poor shape. Every fastener broke when we removed them, exhaust studs, even bolts in the engine bay. We ended up re-drilling and replacing practically every bolt, flange, bracket exhaust stud, transfer case bolt, front suspension bracket... you name it. Hoses, wiring... all disintegrating. Guy was more concerned about getting his 'Active Aero' parts working than the basic repairs this car needed. Add to that the fun that is working on a transverse setup, removing the transfer case and front drive, boots ripping, pulling shafts, no room to remove axles, trying to get the clutch pulled with our heads in the wheel well... Four of us took 3 days of assorted wrenching, cursing, repairing and eventual success to get the thing mobile and drive out of the garage. All of us swore 'Never Again...' I've worked on disastrous JDM Z32s that were in this bad a shape but never had the absolutely rotten time and luck we did with that 3000. Lost a fingernail on that job as well.
